FAQ

IS A CONTRACT REQUIRED?
You are not locked into a contract and can cancel at any time. However, we do ask that you give a 30-day notice if you are a scheduled recurring clean otherwise you are subject to a cancellation fee. If you are a one time clean, we ask that you give us a 7 day notice. You will only need to sign our payment and non-compete agreement.


DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes. We require new clients to pay 50% of their deep clean total at their time of booking. The remaining is due 7 days prior to your deep clean date. In the event you decide to cancel or want to modify the date you previously secured 25% of your deposit is forfeited. 

DO I PAY FOR TRAVEL OR MILEAGE?

That all depends on where you live. Kris Cleans & Co. services spaces in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. Anything over a 20 minute/20 mile drive can be subject to a $29 travel fee. These are things that we will go over during the consultation.


LET'S TALK ABOUT PETS...
We ask that you find a good spot for your pet so they and our cleaners are safe and comfortable while your home is cleaned.


DO I SUPPLY THE CLEANING PRODUCTS?

No, you do not. We provide all supplies and equipment to clean your home top to bottom. Almost all our products are green and safe for the environment. If you have a preferred product you would like us to use, we will happily oblige – all you need to do is let us know where to find it in your home.


DO I NEED TO BE HOME WHILE THE TEAM CLEANS?

No, you do not need to be home for the cleaning. Our teams know what to do and are self-sufficient. However, if you prefer to be home, that is completely up to you. In the event you are not home to let the team in we ask that you leave a door unlocked for us, stash a hidden key somewhere or garage codes work great as well!


ARE YOUR CLEANING PROFESSIONALS EMPLOYEES OR SUBCONTRACTORS?
Our Cleaning Professionals are employed by us. We take them through an intense and detailed training as they represent Kris Cleans.


HOW DO I SKIP A SCHEDULED CLEANING APPOINTMENT?

If you would like to skip one of your recurring cleaning dates, we ask for AT LEAST 72 hours notice. Simply email us and let us know you’d like to skip your next scheduled appointment.


WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment is due prior to service unless otherwise arranged.


WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, cash and checks. If you choose to pay by cash or check, we ask that you notify us in advance.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T PAY OR FORGET TO PAY MY INVOICE ON TIME?

We ask that all invoices be paid 24hrs in advance and if there is an overage in time that invoice will be sent separately to be paid by 9pm same day. If your balance is not paid by 9pm, there will be a $10/per day late fee applied to your account. Account balance must be at $0 before you can continue services. 


AM I EXPECTED TO LEAVE A TIP?

It’s completely up to you! Our teams love to know their hard work is appreciated and a tip is a great way to say, “Great job”. After our first visit a Follow-Up Form will be sent. Completing this helps the team to know you were highly satisfied with their work as well!

WHAT DAYS ARE YOU CLOSED?

If you will be out of town or on vacation during a holiday week, please let our office know as soon as possible. 


We do reserve the right to close for any reason in which I cannot operate in a safe manner. i.e.weather/road conditions, illness, and/or Covid-exposure. 


If illness or other emergencies should arise during cleaning hours every attempt will be made to have a rescheduled date. If date is not available, we will proceed with our next regular scheduled clean.
